Why the animal is being rehomed: Farley is in Stage 3/4 kidney failure and we can no longer care for him. We have a baby due in a couple of months and can no longer care for Farley's needs.

Has Farley ever bitten someone? No
What, if any, medical or behavioral concerns does Farley have? Recently diagnosed by Belle City Vet Clinic in Racine with stage 3/4 Kidney failure. Does have issues with going outside of the litter box at times. Believe this to be because of all the recent vet visits and testing. After his last checkup, his blood tests indicate that he is stabilized better and putting weight back on. Does require subcutaneous fluids when dehydrated. We have a bag and supplies to help with administration.

What should the next family should know about Farley: Does best on wet pet food fed twice daily. Requires low protein diet and may sometimes require subcutaneous fluids if gets dehydrated. Farely has a 2-3 year life expectancy and he desires a quiet atmosphere. Farely has claws on all four feet, but is very gentle and allow us to trim them regularly without issue.
