Bella - Sally's Senior Pick & Benchwarmer!

This dog is one of the many wonderful animals available for adoption at WHS. Despite their great looks and lovable personality, they have not found a new home yet and have become a benchwarmer. To get them back in the game and into a home, we have reduced their adoption fee. We know they will make a great addition to someone’s family – come meet them today!

With the support of a dedicated friend, WHS highlights older pets through a program called #SallysSeniorPick.
Sally would like you to meet her newest friend, Bella! This 7-year-old girl wins the hearts of everyone she meets. She enjoys getting treats, is an expert cuddler, and loves to show off her paw-shaking skills at every chance she gets!

Here is what Bella's previous foster parent had to say about her:
"Bella is the total package -- the perfect mix of calm companionship and playful spunk. On her recent field trip, she politely waited to be invited into the car then rode beautifully. She walks really well on leash with no pulling and frequently checks in for reassurance. Bella is incredibly gentle when taking treats, knows "sit," and appears to be a very smart, well-mannered girl. She handled busy environments with ease, including close encounters with other dogs, and remained calm and composed throughout. At the lakefront, she showed her playful side - zooming in the sand, prancing in the water, and even trying to catch the waves. She's just as happy exploring outdoors as she is cuddling up beside you. Bella is affectionate, polite, and simply lovely to be around. She's an incredible dog."
