Bella - Video & Volunteer Pick!

From her foster family:
Bella is a big momma doggie with a big and gentle heart. Everything we know about her so far we love. She has 3 speeds: a slow walk, a trot that makes her ears jiggle, and a trying-her-best-to-run-fast after a toy/ball/dog friend. She's got the lumps and bumps of a gracefully aging lady. Her cataracts make shadows a lot more fun than they should be. Bella is a respectful co-pilot on car rides, a gentle treat taker, and gives our 1 year old kisses. She sometimes goes in for cuddles or gives a paw not knowing her own size but takes no offense if you push and pull her so that everyone fits on the couch. So far, Bella has coexisted well with our resident dog, a 3 year old male pitbull mix, and we haven't seen any resource guarding. She has a few bursts of playfulness and is content with short walks, fetch in the living room, or a short game of chase with our dog in the yard. When we have left her, Bella is trusted to have free range of the house and snoozes away on her chair or dog bed. She is a quiet girl and sleeps fine at night by herself (doesn't need to be in your room or bed). Bella is a gem, one of our favorite fosters, a gentle and loving dog who is content to love you and be a part of your life.
